She's not super exciting in this one, but it's kind of fun to remember what she looks like when she's at this stage of just starting to communicate.

Making Noises

Rachel is starting to communicate a little bit by responding with cute noises.  And smiles!

"Jumping"

Jonathan loved to show off his "jumping".  If he ever got another parent's attention at Luke's school, he'd start "jumping" like this for them.  He never made it off the ground, but he had all the other motions figured out.  :)

10 Weeks Old

Another smiley moment, and a unsuspecting brother who got too close to flailing baby arms.  :)  10 weeks old now!

Hiccups

I got some hiccups on video, that Rachel is kind of upset by.  It's fun to remember what she looked like when she was so tiny.

Wake Up, Rachel!

It was super funny that Jonathan thought Rachel was always sleeping (which was often the case), even when she was crying.  Here, he's telling her to "Wake up!" even though it's clear she is quite awake.  I suppose, in his defense, her eyes are squinted shut more when she's crying.  :)

Maraca Colors

Jonathan was saying all the colors that flash on this electronic maraca toy.  By the time I got out my camera, he had lost interest somewhat, but he still stays a few here.  :)

Washing Machine Help

Jonathan helping me load the washing machine.  I usually just throw the clothes over the balcony, then load them in off the floor, but with a 7-1/2 month pregnant belly, that's getting harder to do.  :)

Go Broncos!

Jonathan saying "Go Broncos!"  We raise fans early!

Dishwasher Helper

Jonathan's helping Luke unload the clean silverware from the dishwasher.  He says the name of each piece before handing it to Luke - super cute!

Slide

We went to the park to play with some of Luke's school friends and Jonathan loved this slide - he went down it over and over!

Corn on the Cob

Jonathan is very focused on his corn on the cob.  He's doing great eating it for the first time!

Leap Frog Dance

Jonathan loved bopping to his new Leap Frog toy.  Such a cutie!  This went on pretty consistently for a few days.  :P

Soccer Goal

Luke making a goal during a drill in soccer class.  He had kicked it from pretty far away, but it stopped short, so here he's running up to finish the job!

Tricycle Chase

When it was Luke's turn to try out Jonathan's new tricycle, the boys had fun running around the patio chairs with Luke chasing Jonathan.

Birthday presents

A couple of the presents we got Jonathan for his 2nd birthday: "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" for our little letter lover, and a tricycle.

Happy Birthday Song

Singing the "Happy Birthday" song with Jonathan!  He LOVES singing this, and now it gets to be for him!  Happy 2nd birthday, Jonathan!

Saying the Alphabet

Jonathan knows almost all his letters, and he's not even two years old!  This is mostly all his interest - maybe he'll be more interested in reading at an early age than Luke was.  :)
